Beauty & Khaos founder, Kristie Pendleton was born and raised a southern girl and into a  large family. She would watch her mother play “kitchen beautician” to all of the women in her family, sharing gossip, telling jokes and bonding while assuring that they left feeling confident. Kristie developed a passion for self-care and beauty very naturally, one of her favorite things to do would be playing dress-up with her mother’s lipstick or blush. “It almost felt magical to dance around in the mirror adding a little color”

Beauty & Khaos was inspired by the everyday woman, the go getter, the hard worker, the mother, boss lady, the female athlete who just wanted to remind herself of her dopeness with a pop of color along the way. We as women work extremely hard and sometimes forget to treat ourselves to those little things like a gloss or lip color that can pick up our day.

Society has its own way of depicting beauty and transferring that message on to us in a very negative light which causes women to think less of themselves. Beauty & Khaos celebrates all women, all shades, all nationalities, all shapes and sizes breaking the standardized beauty perception.
